CSSS VIDEO SERVICES can provide PROACTIVE or REACTIVE monitoring of the
property.
• Reactive monitoring is receiving a
signal from a system that indicates that there is a problem - such
as an alarm activation or panic button activation.
• Proactive monitoring is provided based
upon a specific “look-in” schedule - such as an hourly
tour to replace or augment the services of a security guard or drive-by
patrol service.
The purpose for CSSS VIDEO SERVICES at retail locations
is to deter and defuse possible theft, trespassing, loitering, car jacking,
drug sales, robbery or violent crime situations.
• To accomplish this, CSSS VIDEO SERVICES
monitors cameras that view entrances to the location, counters, parking
lots, gas pumps and drive through lanes.
• Panic devices are located at the cashier positions and vaults.
Wireless panic devices can also be provided to allow employees to
trigger an alarm anywhere on the property.
• Because INTERACTIVE MONITORING is provided,
bait bills can be utilized.
• Monitors are installed in plain view at the counter areas
to let customers know that they are on video.
• Outside areas and parking lots can be controlled by using
audio announcements to let everyone know that the area is under video
surveillance.
In addition to the above capabilities, we strongly encourage installation
of Digital Video Recorders for 24-hour documentation of activity on the
property. Camera control and monitors can be provided to allow management
to supervise employees’ activities during business hours. Software
is also available so that the cameras can be accessible through the Internet.
