For purposes of definition, CSSS VIDEO SERVICES can provide PROACTIVE or REACTIVE monitoring of the property.

REACTIVE monitoring is receiving a signal from a system that indicates that there is a problem - such as an alarm activation or panic button activation.
PROACTIVE monitoring is provided based upon a specific “look-in” schedule - such as an hourly tour to replace or augment the services of a security guard or drive-by patrol service.

Here is a sample of response to a violation situation viewed over a monitored video installation:

CSSS VIDEO SERVICES responds to photoelectric beams, fence systems or motion detectors located around the perimeter of the property.
Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) and fixed cameras are installed to provide us the ability to see who is on the property. This system is activated when authorized personnel leave the property.
When someone enters the property and “trips” the system, CSSS VIDEO SERVICES is notified.
Should criminal activity be determined, announcements are made for the person to leave the property immediately.
If necessary, law enforcement can be dispatched to the property, with continuous updates on the description, location and activities of the suspect(s).
With additional equipment and monitoring fees, we can also provide monitoring of the water flow, heat or smoke, low or high pressure detectors and the interior alarm systems.
