HOMELAND SECURITY
Add Video Monitoring with audio intervention to your Homeland Security applications, and raise the level of flexibility and security that you can offer for this very vital market.
Recent events have shown us that terrorists can strike anywhere, and at anytime. Facilities that are located in remote areas are especially vulnerable. These include:

-Water treatment plants

-Electrical switching stations

-Gas or oil storage facilities

These facilities can be protected by a video system with audio intervention. A series of detectors (e.g., photoelectric cells, motion detectors, etc.) will detect movement and notify the monitoring station. The camera(s) will be viewed to observe what has tripped the detectors. Pan tilt and zoom cameras can observe the whole property.

If nothing is observed, the operator can rewind the digital video recorder to see what actually happened. If the motion was due to an animal or bird, the video operator will log the occurrence as a routine incident.

WHAT IS A VOICE-DOWN?

If an individual trips the alarm, we would do a "voice-down" to inform the person(s) that they are under video surveillance, and that they are trespassing and must leave the property immediately. With microphones added to the system, we can have a two-way dialog in the case that the individual is authorized to be there. They could have a special "password" for identification.

The voice-downs can be very specific (e.g., "You in the red shirt, we have you on video and have summoned law enforcement to have you arrested for trespassing").

And, if possible, we might be able to see the vehicle and license plate.

Our video surveillance with audio intervention is a very efficient and inexpensive way to replace or augment costly security guards, and even to improve safety conditions for them.

Our video surveillance system also allows authorized users to access views of the facility from any personal computer.
