BANK APPLICATION
Bank applications often have special requirements and show the flexibility of CSSS Video Monitoring Services and how they enhance the functions of static and traditional alarm equipment.
Banks, Credit Unions and check cashing facilities: There are two primary video monitoring applications for the banking community:
1. TO PROVIDE A HIGHER LEVEL OF SECURITY AT ATM LOCATIONS.	2. TO DETER AND DEFUSE POSSIBLE ROBBERY SITUATIONS.
To accomplish this, CSSS VIDEO SERVICES monitors fixed or PTZ cameras viewing the ATM area. Typically, this type of monitoring will be REACTIVE. If the ATM is enclosed, panic devices can be installed by the entrance so that a patron can call for assistance in the event that they are being threatened or intimidated. In this case, the Video Operator can have a two-way dialog with the patron, and/or can make a general announcement to notify the person that they are being monitored. Should criminal activity be observed, announcements are made for the person to leave the property immediately. If necessary, law enforcement would be dispatched to the premises.	At these locations we either replace or back up existing security guards. To accomplish this, CSSS Video Services utilizes fixed cameras viewing entrances to the location, teller lines, ATM’s and drive through lanes. Panic devices are located at the teller positions, guard stations, managers or executive offices and ATM’s. Because INTERACTIVE VIDEO is provided, bait bills can be utilized. CSSS VIDEO SERVICES will work with the bank’s specific policies and procedures regarding hold-ups, openings and closings, as well as bank security procedures. If necessary, law enforcement can be dispatched to the property and we can provide real-time video verification as to the events that are occurring directly to the dispatcher with physical and location descriptions.
In addition to the above capabilities, we strongly encourage installation of Digital Video Recorders for 24-hour documentation of activity on the property. Camera control and monitors can be provided to allow management to supervise employees’ activities during business hours. Software is also available so that the cameras can be accessible through the Internet.
